I do not take logos lightly, and rarely make the generic 'symbol at left / type face at right' style logo, unless of course this is the logo you are looking for. I put a lot of thought into one's logo, as I appreciate the fact that a logo should be able to stand alone from any other image and be able to tell the story of what it is that you are selling, or doing, or being. Every aspect of my logo designs are thought through thoroughly, taking into account font selection, color selection, text manipulation, symbolic additions, iconic usage. Clothing and apparel in today's world translates to wearable art. Goal: Design a shirt someone would want to wear outside of doing weekend yard work... a shirt someone would be proud enough to wear out in public.
Co-founder of a non-profit philosophy brand whose mission was to help raise funds for underfunded tactical operations teams. Started in 2012, within our 2nd year of business, we were doing all the design and merchandising for the NTOA (National Tactical Officers Association). SWAT LIFE - Domestic / Law Enforcement brand; Door Kickers - Military / Special Forces brand. Every penny we raised from the sale of themed apparel and merchandise went right back to the cause.
Co-designed with Heffe' Semanas (Jeff Weeks) for InGear Fashions. Comprised of head-to-toe coordinated surfwear apparel including hats, board shorts, hoodies, t-shirts, and flip flops.
From product conceptualization to packaging design to factory sourcing and production - This is by far my favorite part of the job.
Logos, catalogs, business cards and websites are nice and all, but product design & development really captures the entire idea of turning dreams into realities. I mean, one needs a product or service to "sell" before they need any of the above mentioned materials, unless of course they are selling logos, catalogs, etc. Having your product professionally designed for market is what it is all about. Having years of experience in branding consumer product after consumer product, years of experience working with factories all over the world, years of experience conceptualizing creative packaging and designing that packaging accordingly, Enigmagination's favorite thing to do is Product Design & Development. A sample collection of personal artwork. Most is acrylic paint on canvas, sprinkled with a few "SouthParkesque" paper cut outs, a few lithographs, and a few sharpie marker pieces. I traditionally try to separate "work" from "hobby" whereas I keep fine art as my hobby... However, I always love a good challenge, so if the project makes sense, I'd be open to it on a professional level.
